5S System Explanation

The 5S system improves workplace efficiency and eliminates waste.There are five steps in the system, each starting with the letter S:

Explanation of Every Step :

The first step in the 5S process is Sort, or “seiri,” The goal of the Sort step is to eliminate clutter and clear up space by removing things that don’t belong in the area.

The goal of second step which is set in order is to organize the work area. Each item should be easy to find, use, and return everything in its place after used.

Third step tell us that we need to clean our workspace reguarly and inspect the area in daily basis.Each worker should clean their own work area, and the equipment they use.

The fifth step of a 5S program is Sustain.The idea here is continuing commitment which we have made throughout our previous 4th step.And we need to make it habit for everyone who is working on our industry so that this process keeps ongoing.
